THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
(of business ethics…)
When VIEWPOINT Magazine asked me to shoot a series on new rules for corporate leadership, we were facing a visual dilemma: A profoundly interesting topic would mostly be presented by headshots of knowledgeable executive headshots throughout the magazine. So to counterbalance the abundance of corporate pinstripe, someone rather organic and old-school was needed: And, well, who is the original, old-school organic dude? Yes! My friend Marc who looks a lot like the other dude most of us are very fond of. So I asked him to walk up and down Broadway with us and interact with the people. To insure maximum response I picked a day of the Republican Convention in (not-so-republican) NYC for its heated atmosphere. Marcs appearance turned out to be quite ‚magnetic‘ and the common response so immensely peaceful, I could not shake the feeling that we provided visitors and New Yorkers alike with some sort of comic yet spiritual relief. Believers and non-believers flocked to us all the same.
